Something Mistaken For Nothing

We have a brand new art show going up in the shoppe gallery this week! Artist Scott Albrecht arrived from Brooklyn just this morning and is currently scouring the city for planks of salvaged wood that will provide a backdrop for his incredible collection of typographic-based work. The show features a series of three-dimensional pictographic wooden pieces, hand-cut and stained as well as typographic studies on vintage pieces of paper and  wood— created using paint, pen & ink, and screen printing. We will be having an opening reception for Scotty this Friday, and would love to see you there!

What: SOMETHINGMISTAKENFORNOTHING, new works by Scott Albrecht

When: Friday, August 27th, 6-9pm

Where: The Curiosity Shoppe, 855 Valencia St. (between 19th & 20th), SF

More info on the show can be found here, here, and here.

Work will be available on the Curiosity Shoppe website next week!
